Born Pretty Store Review: Multicolour Nail Studs

Happy February everyone! I can't believe we're onto month number 2 already. For this post, I will be reviewing Born Pretty Store's "400pcs 2mm Round Square Fluorescent Lighter Colors Stud Rhinestones Nail Art Decoration with box". Apparently these studs are a pretty hot sellers because the darker version were sold out! I placed my request a while ago and the package came within 2 and a half weeks. Born Pretty Store is a great place to get all the supplies because it is affordable, they have a huge variety, and it's free international shipping with no minimum order!

These studs were very fun to work with! I absolutely love the pastel colours and I find it very versatile. It is sold for $5.99 and unfortunately, the price doesn't get cheaper the more you buy like it usually does. But still, it is absolutely reasonable considering these are sold for wholesale prices. You can also save an extra 10% when you use the code: NVL91

These round and squared studs come in a sturdy wheel box. It comes in 6 different colours: orange, blue, yellow, pink, green and purple. You can definitely create designs as simple or as complex as you want. As always, I like to give myself a little challenge. At first, I wanted to create a nail art inspired by a bubble necklace. But then while looking through statement necklace designs, I decided that I wanted to create a nail art inspired by floral necklaces like the ones pictured below. In addition to these fluorescent studs,  I also used rhinestones (reviewed here), white pearls (reviewed here), and some coloured pearls (reviewed here). These are all available for purchase on Born Pretty Store as well.

I really enjoy working with these studs. The lasting power really depend on how well you stick it on! Usually it will last me for about two days and it usually falls off when I'm doing the dishes.

For my nail art, I painted the base of my nail and allow it to dry. I used my black muji gel pen to draw the outline of my flowers and filled it in with different colour polish. Once that has dried, I placed on the studs, pearls, and rhinestone to create the floral statement necklace inspired nail art. For the record, I did my thumbs first, which is why they are a much darker shade. If I were to re-do it, I would keep it all pastel or light shade.
